DebtPages is an independent directory of the businesses that advertise help with consumer debt in the United States: credit and debt counseling offices, debt relief and settlement companies, credit repair services, tax debt resolution firms, and bankruptcy help. Alongside the directory we publish original guides and free calculators.

Why the site exists

Six very different kinds of business sell under one banner, and the differences between them decide what you pay and what happens to your credit. Someone searching for help at eleven at night deserves a plain description of each option and the federal rules that govern it, not a lead capture form. That is the whole idea here.

Where the listings come from

Location data is compiled from Overture Maps, an open map dataset. We classify each record by name and category, remove obvious mismatches and duplicates, and generate a description of what that kind of provider typically does.

Three things follow from that. A listing is not an endorsement and says nothing about licensing, fees, or quality. Business details change constantly, so confirm anything that matters before you act on it. And the type shown on a page is our best reading of a name and a category, not a verified description of what the business sells.

How the site pays for itself

This site contains affiliate links and may earn a commission when you use them, at no extra cost to you. Advertising units are labeled where they appear. Directory listings are never paid, never sorted by payment, and cannot be bought.
