The short version

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or financial details. There are no accounts, no newsletter signup, and no lead forms anywhere on this site. The calculators run entirely in your browser and the numbers you type are never sent to us.

Analytics

We may use a standard web analytics service to count page views and understand which guides people find useful. That service collects technical information such as an approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you visit. We use it in aggregate only and never attempt to identify individual visitors.

Cookies

The site itself sets no advertising cookies. Your light or dark mode preference is stored in your browser local storage and never leaves your device. An analytics provider may set its own cookies, which you can block in your browser settings without affecting how the site works.

Links to other sites

When you follow a link to an advertiser, a listed business, or a cited source, you leave this site and that operator’s own privacy policy applies. Advertising links pass through a redirect on this domain that records nothing about you personally; it exists to keep automated crawler traffic out of an advertiser’s click counts.

Maps

Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap. Loading a map means your browser contacts their servers, which is subject to their privacy policy. Maps never request your device location.

Directory data

Directory listings describe businesses, not individuals, and are compiled from a public open map dataset. If you own a listed business and want its entry corrected or removed, write to us and we will act on it.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
